A one day professional development conference for K-12 educators that will encourage and foster student innovation in the learning environment.

Participants will:

• Gain an appreciation for the importance of student innovators.
• Explore how a Makerspace environment can encourage new ideas, build confidence,  and develop passion through tinkering.
• Learn how to implement teaching methods such as Project Based Learning and Design Thinking in the classroom.
• Explore a variety of EdTech tools that can be used in the classroom.
• Learn how student-centered projects are integrated into the curriculum.
