The last two weeks of summer school we run a five day/all-day (8:00-2:30) sessions that are just for girls one week and the next week we run one just for boys. It's interesting to see the different mentality and energy between the two groups. Both classes are run the same, introducing the students to the design process, thinking routines (thanks Project Zero @ Harvard), simple circuits, using programs to design for the laser cutter and 3D printer, Scratch and MakeyMakeys. After they learn each tool, they are free to plan and make whatever they want. Below are some picture from each week.
