Kindergarten Builds Bridges

Our kindergarten students are learning about structures. They did experiments with forces as they learned about gravity. They looked at different types of bridges to see that although the purpose may be the same, different designs are used for different situations. They then built 3 different types of bridges using the same material. The only change was how they made the bridge (arch bridge vs a beam bridge or deep beam vs arch). After the bridges were built, they tested them to see which structure was stronger.
